KIDS MINISTRY

WE LOVE KIDS

We’re all about creating a fun, safe, and gospel-centred space where children can discover who God is and who He’s made them to be. Whether they’re tiny toddlers or heading into high school, every child is welcomed, loved, and encouraged to grow in their faith in a way that’s age-appropriate and meaningful.

We believe that faith is fun, that kids matter to God, and that church should be the best 90 minutes of a kid’s week. Our heart is to see kids in Constantiaberg know the gospel, experience community, and grow in confidence as lifelong followers of Jesus.

WHAT’S ON AT KIDS ROCK

GET READY FOR A MORNING LIKE NO OTHER!

Sunday, 20 September, Kids Rock is going CRAZY at both our 08:30 am and 10:30 am meetings. It's a high-energy morning packed with games, music and non-stop fun for our kids as we end off Term 3.

It's the perfect Sunday to invite a friend along. Crazy Sunday is one of those mornings kids won't stop talking about, so don't miss this awesome Sunday!

OVER THE HOLIDAYS

Here's a helpful guide to what's happening at Kids Rock over the September/October holidays:

27 September & 04 October — Holiday Sundays
Kids will join their families for worship before heading out to a special holiday programme. Two great mornings to look forward to. Shift will remain in the meeting!

MOVING UP SUNDAY
Sunday 11 October — This is one of our biggest celebrations of the year!

We believe moving kids into their new groups before the new school year gives them the chance to settle in, make friends, and get comfortable without the added pressures of January’s rush. From this Sunday, your child will attend their new age group each week.

GRADE 7-8

Stylized logo with the letters 'SH' in a beige rectangle and 'FT' in a blue rectangle.

Shift serves our teenagers through teaching the Bible, having fun and building relationships, while journeying with them as they explore and ask questions of their own faith. Our desire is for them to find and follow Jesus with a greater ownership of their own faith journey.

OUR VOLUNTEERS

You will see many faces ready to greet you and spend the morning with your child. All of our volunteers wear Kids Rock t-shirts to distinguish who is here to welcome your child.

All of our Kids Rock volunteers are part of the Common Ground Constantiaberg community and have completed the relevant Child Protection Background Checks.
