THE FOUR CORE COMPONENTS
TECHNICAL
This refers to a specific functional area of responsibility on the Cberg team. Each of our Young Leaders will choose a specific field of expertise which will form part of their day to day responsibilities. They will be developed through both informal shadowing and mentoring. Each technical area comes with on the job training and exposure to projects where these technical skills will be used.
LEADERSHIP
This refers to the key life and leadership skills they will learn on the program which will prepare our Young Leaders to live a purposeful story, providing them with the necessary tools to be people of influence in the world. This includes one on one mentorship, leadership training, leadership projects and responsibilities, as well as personal development through ‘Leadership Intensives’ where our Young Leaders will be equipped by business professionals.
BIBLICAL FOUNDATION
This refers to one of our values, which is to couple a passion for God with living a vibrant Biblical theology. Our Young Leaders will be encouraged to grow in their personal relationship with God, while providing a sound theological platform in the form of a recognised Bible study program. Throughout the program our Young Leaders will complete the ‘Advance Theological Course’ as well as a number of book reviews on relevant topics.
SERVING
This is at the very heart of the program and refers to the multiple areas in which our Young Leaders will have the privilege of passionately serving God and serving others, firstly through their involvement at Cberg as a local church, but also extending to their broader community. Our Young Leaders will learn to work in team with volunteers from different walks of life.

AREAS OF EXPERIENCE
MISSIONS
The Great Commission to go into all the world is something we take very seriously. Our heart is to strengthen other churches in different parts of our city, country and world.
Our Young Leaders will have opportunities to go on mission to different cultures and communities where churches need strengthening.
MINISTRY
All of our Young Leaders will be exposed to different ministry opportunities and given different responsibilities throughout the year where they will discover how best to use their gifting.
Part of the program will be their direct involvement in serving and leading as well as the shaping of what our youth and students programs look like.
STUDIES
Our commitment to prepare our Young Leaders for the future goes beyond the Internship Program.
Each Young Leader is required to enrol in external studies or short courses based on their interests. Time management, and learning to honour deadlines both personally and within the orginization, is a helpful life skill.
JOB READINESS
The Program recognises the importance of equipping individuals with the necessary skills and expertise to function effectively as a voice in the market place.
Our Young Leaders will be prepared through practical training and job readiness programs to position them for their next steps.
