This term at Kids Rock we’re heading on a fun, space-themed adventure through the Bible! For the first term we will be covering Genesis and Exodus (from Creation to Moses) kids will discover how God created everything and how His big plan has been at work from the very beginning. It’s going to be out of this world!

ADVANCE YOUTH GATHERING

Frequency will be heading out to New Gen Church this Friday for the pre-camp gathering for the evening, along with other youth groups from around the area.
It’s going to be a brilliant night of fun, worship, connection, and hearing from Mbonisi Malaba (One Tribe Church, Kenya). You can either meet at Cape Academy at 5:00 pm to hop on the bus, or you are welcome to drive your high schooler through. Please ensure they arrive by 06:30 pm at New Gen, Church (13 Derrick Dr, Somerset West Business Park)
MOMS CONNECT

Moms Connect is happening this break-up day! Before the holiday madness officially begins, swap the morning chaos for a moment of calm. We’re meeting at St James Beach for a dip in the ocean (the best way to reset!), and we’ll grab a coffee from Folk Café and find a spot on the beach to connect and catch up. It’s going to be the perfect way to start the holidays with friendship and a bit of a splash.
ADVANCE YOUTH CAMP

The Advance Youth Camp is back!
We’re heading to Habonim Campsite for a life-changing weekend of worship, fellowship, fun, and connection with youth from across Cape Town and beyond. Teens can expect meaningful time in the Word, devotionals, great activities, and lasting friendships. Transport by bus is available this year. Spots fill quickly, so don’t wait, sign up, and please remember to complete the indemnity on page two.
EASTER HOLY WEEK PACKS

This Easter, things aren’t always what they seem! We’re inviting your family on a week-long investigation to solve the ultimate mystery that's been Hidden in Plain Sight.
From the 30th of March until the 2nd of April, we’re dropping daily "Search & Find" video devotionals. Together, we’ll look closer at the Bible to find God’s plan hidden in plain sight—from a King on a donkey to a secret message in an empty tomb!
To help your little detectives crack the code, we’ve put together exclusive Holy Week Craft Packs! These packs are loaded with everything your kids need to build the "clues" and crafts mentioned in our daily videos.
Get Your Packs: Cost is R40 per child (covers all the secret supplies!)
Packs will be available for collection at the church offices (43 Tokai Road) from 9 am -1 pm on Friday 27th of March, and at church on Sunday, the 29th of March. You can pay via Snapscan or EFT with the reference KR+Surname. Proof of payment can be emailed to kelly@cgcc.co.za

Prepare for liftoff - Next Sunday, March 22, is Crazy Sunday, at the 8:30 am & 10:30 am meetings, and this term’s theme is officially Out of This World. We’re turning Kids Rock into a cosmic training ground for "Astronauts in Training." It’s going to be a morning of high-energy fun and space-themed activities. It’s the perfect opportunity to blast off into our community and invite friends, neighbours, and classmates to join in on the fun.
LOVE OUR CITY

As we head toward Easter, we have a beautiful opportunity to Love our City in a very tangible way. This month, we are partnering with Beyond Priceless to collect Easter eggs. Beyond Priceless is a counter-child-trafficking organisation dedicated to protecting vulnerable children and restoring hope. Over the next three weeks, we’d love for you to bring a box (or two!) of marshmallow Easter eggs to church on a Sunday, or drop them off at the Church Office during the week.
