WHAT’S HAPPENING AT C’BERG?

HOLY WEEK DEVOTIONALS

30 March - 2 April

Starting Monday, 30 March, we will be sharing a series of daily devotionals titled "Hidden In Plain Sight." These short, reflections are designed to help you tune out the noise of the world and tune into the subtle, beautiful ways God was moving in the days leading up to the Cross.

These devotionals will be delivered exclusively via our email mailer each morning. If you aren’t yet receiving our weekly updates, now is the perfect time to subscribe so you don’t miss a single day of this journey.

Let’s prepare our hearts together for the wonder of the Resurrection.

GOOD FRIDAY & EASTER SUNDAY

3 April | 08:30am | 10:00am

5 April | 08:30am | 10:30am

Following our week of daily devotionals, we invite you to experience the full story of Easter here at C’Berg. Our theme this year, "Hidden in Plain Sight," reminds us that even in the noise of the world, God’s grace and hope are always moving; we just need to pause to see them.

Good Friday | 3 April The journey begins in the shadow of the Cross. In the busyness of life, the sacrifice of Jesus can often remain hidden in plain sight, but on this morning, we pause to truly see it. Join us as we honour the love that changed everything.

Easter Sunday | 5 April The shadows give way to the wonder of the empty tomb! On Sunday morning, what was hidden is made clear: He is Risen! This is a morning of celebration, joy, and hope for the whole family. Whether it’s your first time at C’Berg or your hundredth, there is a seat saved for you as we celebrate the King who is moving among us today.

Let’s prepare our hearts together for the wonder of the Resurrection.

YOUNG AT HEART

9 April | 10:00am

There is such a special blessing in gathering together, as our "Young at Heart", as we look forward to a season of friendship and community. We have some wonderful mornings of lined up, and your presence would truly brighten the group!

Please mark your calendars for 9 April, 7 May, and 4 June, starting with a gentle and fun morning of Putt-Putt and coffee at 10:00 AM on Thursday, 9 April.

Whether you are a regular face or joining us for the very first time, there is a warm seat and a friendly conversation waiting for you. Because we like to make the most of the sunshine, our outings are sometimes weather-dependent, so we would confirm the final details on our WhatsApp group during the week before we meet. FAMILY PICNIC

18 April | 09:30am

We would love to invite all our parents with kids aged 10 and under to join us for a morning of connection and community at Buitenverwachting Estate on the Lawns on Saturday, 18 April.

There is no agenda and no "to-do" list, just a wide-open space for us to hang out on the lawns, share some conversation, and get to know one another better while the kids enjoy the fresh air. Pack a picnic blanket, bring along some cash for the coffee shop, and come enjoy a slow Saturday morning. We can’t wait to spend the morning with you.

BAPTISMS

19 April | Between the meetings

Baptisms are coming up, and this is such a special moment in the life of our church. As a community, we get to celebrate new life in Christ, stand together, and rejoice in what God is doing in the hearts of those taking this step of faith.

If you are ready to be baptised, we would love for you to sign up and take this next step in your journey. And for everyone else, come and join us between the meetings as we gather to celebrate, cheer, and give thanks for the work God is doing among us.
